Waihonua Update

ワイホヌアより、下記のお知らせ。

ハワイアンの骨の件でState Historic Preservation Division (SHPD) からの最終決定を待っているが、大部分はしかるべき対処をすることで決定されています。

若干の変更はあってもフロアプランやビュー、パーキング、アメニティに変更はなく大きく遅れもなく、建設も引続き行うとのことです。

完成が楽しみです。


We are happy to report that construction at Waihonua continues to proceed. Foundation work beneath the parking structure is being completed. Continuation of the foundation for the residential tower recommenced last week.


State Historic Preservation Division Determination
As you were previously informed in Kewalo Development's October 26th letter, the developer has been waiting for a final determination from the State Historic Preservation Division (SHPD) regarding the most recently discovered iwi kupuna (ancestral remains). Kewalo Development has received the decision from SHPD that the majority of the iwi kupuna will be preserved in place. The details, which continue to respect and honor the iwi kupuna, will be included as part of a burial treatment plan that SHPD will have to approve.

We are happy to confirm that the minor revisions to the building plans will NOT impact the residence floor plans, parking, views or the project's amenities. Further, the developer does not anticipate any significant difference in the construction schedule previously included in the Amended Developer's Public Report. I
